Welcome to The Dance Tank, located in Gymea Bay, Matong Place, 16, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we pride ourselves on providing a wide range of flexible learning and teaching strategies for our students.

At The Dance Tank, we offer various courses to cater to different needs. Our External Face-To-Face Course allows students to attend weekly classes in South Sydney, taught face-to-face by our principal teacher, Katelyn Boshell. These classes cover all aspects of performance, composition, appreciation, and examination preparation required for the 2 Unit HSC Dance Course.

For those who prefer distance education, we offer the Distance Education Course. Students are provided with all the necessary HSC Dance content through electronic and virtual learning platforms. They have weekly virtual face-to-face interaction with their teacher and other external students. We also provide recorded content for added learning flexibility to suit each student's weekly timetable.

Additionally, The Dance Tank offers Year 9 and 10 dance students the opportunity to complete the Stage 5 dance course externally or through distance education. Year 10 students can also be accelerated to commence the Preliminary HSC Course, subject to their dance experience and school approval.

Our principal owner, Katelyn Boshell, brings over 20 years of experience in the field of Dance and Drama. She is a trained Primary and Secondary teacher specializing in Higher School Certificate Dance and Drama courses. Katelyn is also accredited as a NESA Proficient Level Teacher and has worked as a choreographer and tutor for the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit State Dance company and Schools Spectacular. She has also served as the Sydney Region Dance coordinator and artistic director, receiving recognition as the NSW New Scheme Teacher of the Year.

All our programs are taught by qualified and industry-trained teachers with current NESA Teaching Accreditation, NSW Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificates including Anaphylaxis. Our educators are passionate about the growth and welfare of each individual child, and they strive to achieve the highest level of quality, professionalism, and care.
