"I came in the past during primary school camp in 2015 which the place was fine by my kid self. (except in cabins and the camp hall my friends got bitten by leaches which scared the heck outta us. And if we didn't fully cover ourselves while sleeping we get lots of mozzie / bug bites by morning) Idk if it's changed by now but I'm gonna come here again near end of next month for uni camp Anything new compared to many years ago or advice I should know?"
"The food was horrific! The instructors were friendly and entertaining, but the activities were basic and long winded. It felt as though they were containing of us and limited our freedom. The beds seemed to be infested with bed bugs as many people suffered bites. And on top of that the bunk beds squeaked terribly (but they were comfy) As a person who was labeled as a 'special diet' i found that i felt separated and they gave me vegetarian meals even though i am just allergic to mango????? Plus, the times were unreasonable as the dinner was early and breakfast was late! The provided free time was very short (30 mins) and in this time we were not allowed to access our cabins so we had to sit and freeze in the cold. On another note, the facilities were amazing; the showers were warm and the toilets were clean. But the alleged cleaners did not clean our rooms what so ever. The bin that we had for 5 days was still dirty and festering at the end of our stay. The water was also not up to human standards as it tasted metallic and grimy. Another disappointment at this center was its 'night shows'. Whilst these were fun and entertaining to start, they ended up becoming boring and time consuming. When the 'night show' finished we were rushed to bed with nearly no time to get ready for bed. Defiantly wouldn't be coming back until this center MAJORLY improves!!!"
