"I've had the privilege of training here for the last 4 and a half years and the experience has been amazing. I just wanted to get fit and learn a new skill, but this school has given me so much more. As an older guy I was overweight and unfit so I was hesitant to start this journey. However i just kept showing up and getting better and fitter every day. Now I feel better than I did in my 30s. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a very challenging and humbling sport, and it's had a great positive effect on my life and mindset. Professor Julio is an accomplished competitor, a fantastic instructor and an inspiring presence in the gym. He looks after and cares for all his students and runs a very professional gym. It's a very clean and friendly atmosphere and all my training partners are wonderful people. I couldn't rate Gracie Barra West Ryde any higher.
