"I’m absolutely thrilled with my experience at this place. For over a year, I’ve entrusted my child to their care, and I can’t believe how confident and happy he is attending childcare every day. Having tried two other childcare centre before, I can share some of my feelings: The educators here are kind and incredible warm-hearted. They are willing to engage in conversations about your child. It’s impressive how they remember each child’s name. In contrast, I’ve encountered centres where staff can be indifferent. I recall many times the main caregiver couldn’t even recall if my child had napped during the day. Some even pushed my child into learning activities prematurely, showing a lack of understanding for my child. Some parents want their children to be academically advanced, but for me, I would rather my child enjoy going to the centre and having fun. The programs here are amazing! They always notify you through the app about the activities they planned to do, and I’m impressed how much my child has grown in confidence, speaking, and manner! What’s even more captivating is their commitment to capturing these moments and sharing them on the app. I am so glad to be able to watch my child’s experiences and learning journey. Unlike other centres where photo sharing is minimal, I can barely see any updates. I often being directed to an old-school, handwritten note on a wall. The respond I got from the old centres left me feeling disconnected and unsure about my child’s development and most importantly if my child enjoy being there or not, he was too little and he can’t express his feelings by words. It's not just my child who has been loving this place, I’ve observed the great transformation of other newcomers as well. Children who initially appeared shy and cried a lot have changed to a confident and joyful kid. I can see them say hi and wave goodbye to me every time I come to the centre. I want to really thank you for all carers who has worked in here. Thank you for looking after my child and all the other kids too! The facility is well equipped for engaging both of my children in a range of activities that foster their curiosity and enable each one to develop positive relationships with their friends and teachers. They always come home with smiles on their faces and are always happy to go to the centre. The school readiness program is also great and I feel that it really prepared by son to start kindergarten. They do so many fun activities and my two year old who attends five days a week absolutely loves it. If you are contemplating between which day care to enroll your child into, I would highly recommend this one. The staff truly care about the kids and that, to me, is so important. But West Ryde ELC made every effort to make us feel at ease and be confident that my child was in good hands and receiving the best care possible.
