Reviews
"admission process very slow improve to be need ,no reply no communications..."
"One of the worst decisions I ever made was to pursue a Bachelor Degree of Journalism with this institution. It is overpriced and fails to fulfil its promises of industry connections, all while additionally failing to inform students as to the reality of the journalism industry in Australia where the odds are stacked tall against you getting anywhere in terms of employment but also failing to prepare you for certain aspects of the industry if you are lucky enough to find employment within it. Finally, as alumni the college is more than happy to claim your successes, but you will otherwise not hear from them and even in the case where you need to contact them for some information about the course you’ve studied you’re lucky if you hear anything back from them. Giving this review an extra star because *some* of the lecturers are great people."
"I experienced gender and age discrimination in my first class at this college when I was asked if I knew how to use a computer, by the lecturer. I certainly wouldn't have been asked this question if I was a 23 year old male. They also don't offer all units per trimester, so forget it if you think you will be able to study full time and graduate within the time frames given. This is not a professionally run college and I would avoid these small fry colleges in future and attend a professionally run university."
"The best advertising course in Sydney."
"Awesome! The best college I have ever attended! I completed my HeDipBusMkt here at Macleay, and the teacher was the textbook author Peter Rix. To be educated by industry professionals who have written the course which is respected by industry leaders and the marketing and business industry, as well as have real examples and simulations brought to the classroom on top of industry experience internships (that are not coffee runs) and hardcore business setup exam where you start your own business and use everything you have learnt in marketing - Macleay College is perfect!!! DO NOT GO TO UNI go to Macleay College (first!!)"
