Welcome to The Ponds Tennis Academy, located at The Ponds Boulevard, 145 in Australia. As an establishment, health, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to training all students with the intention of playing tournament-level tennis. Our belief is that the best way to improve a player's ability is to train like a high-performance player.

At The Ponds Tennis Academy, we provide a tennis coaching service that is focused on creating tournament players in the Blacktown area. Our coaches are highly trained former players with 10 years of playing experience. By finding commonality with our students, such as playing tournaments, we are able to communicate effectively and build a sense of trust. This trust allows us to tackle issues and improve upon mistakes together.

Enroll your child in our tennis camp, where we will have a strong focus on tennis skills while also keeping all students entertained with other team sports on our courts. Additionally, our facility offers access to a playground and field, ensuring a well-rounded experience for your child.

We offer various lesson options tailored to individuals' needs and goals. Our 1-on-1 lessons prioritize technical, physical, and mental development, with lesson durations ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. For those who prefer a more personalized approach but still want the benefits of group dynamics, we offer lessons with a ratio of 2 students to 1 coach. These lessons provide a balance of improvement and rest, with durations also ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Our group lessons, which consist of 3 or 4 players, are designed to engage students in socializing and helping each other improve, ensuring that all players are constantly active.

The Ponds Tennis Academy is proud to bring high-performance tennis coaching to the Blacktown area. We offer our services at three different locations in the area for your convenience.

When it comes to payment, term fees must be paid in advance to reserve your spot and paid before the due date indicated on your invoice. Late payments will attract a surcharge. We accept Mastercard, VISA, and AMEX payments, each with its respective surcharge. Additionally, a fee of 88 cents applies to all direct debit payments made by bank transfer.

Please note that The Ponds Tennis Academy is not responsible for the supervision of children outside of lesson times. It is important to pick up your child in a timely manner after lessons have been completed.

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, which is why we offer make-up lessons for private lessons in the case of wet weather or up to 1 case of cancellation due to holidays, illness, or injury. To qualify for a make-up lesson, voluntary cancellations must be given a minimum of 24 hours' notice. For any additional cancellations, fees are forfeited, but credits can be provided for the following term. Refunds are not given. In the event of rain during a lesson, if it is determined unsafe to continue playing, the remaining duration of the scheduled lesson will be made up in future lessons.

Make-up lessons for semi-private and group lessons are only offered in the case of wet weather. If any group members are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, their fees will be forfeited. Similarly, credits can be provided for the following term, but refunds are not given. In the event of rain during a lesson, the remaining duration will be made up in future lessons.

The Ponds Tennis Academy operates within the bounds of the current NSW COVID-19 restrictions, ensuring the safety of our coaches and students. Coaches wear masks when on the same side as the student to ensure safety, and students have the option to wear masks if they choose. As long as it is within restrictions to attend lessons, they will proceed as scheduled. If you are unable to attend due to being out of the radius of tennis courts, we will consider this for a credit on the following term's invoice or a make-up lesson at a later date. If you decide not to attend lessons despite being within restrictions, this will be considered a cancellation, and our cancellation terms described above will apply. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, lessons will qualify as cancellations and will not be provided with a make-up.
