"I look forward to coming to my classes with Havana Dance so much! I am in beginning stages of learning but it is so much fun. I just love the instructors, they are all so passionate about the dance and Cuban culture. Fraudy has an infectious personality. He is so patient, and his passion for the culture and all dance styles is contagious. He probably doesn’t remember but years ago, I joined an intermediate class thinking I knew it all because I’d done a few LA style classes. Fraudy doesn’t miss a beat though (literally) and he recommended I start at the beginning foundations instead. Initially my ego was a bit bruised, but I understood. I really wanted to learn and was disappointed that an injury kept me from coming back. But now I’m back, (yep, started at beginners) and I’m glad that he talks about the importance of foundations so much.
