At Lindfield East Public School, we prioritize the safety of our students, both online and offline. We have partnered with Safe on Social to provide resources and cheat sheets that inform and educate us on various online safety issues, social media apps, online games, and legal information. We are grateful to Kirra and her team at Safe on Social for providing these valuable resources.
Our school is also committed to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. We have a wonderful eco-garden where our students connect with nature and learn to care for the environment. We recently had the privilege of being part of the What's in your backyard? launch with Landcare Australia, showcasing our eco-garden and the efforts of our students. We extend our gratitude to Matt Logan, Ingrid van Loon, and Amanda Gabell for creating such an inspiring space for our community and other schools.
If you are looking for expert advice on cyber safety, our school is a rich source of information from ySafe's team of cyber safety experts. The Hub includes advice on the most pertinent cyber safety issues, frequently asked questions about popular platforms like TikTok, Fortnite, and Instagram, app reviews with age and safety recommendations, and guides and resources to help establish healthy boundaries around screen time and gaming. We also provide step-by-step instructions for using parental controls and filtering out inappropriate content. You can access our Cyber Safety Hub through the link provided.
We understand the importance of family engagement in education. For parents and caregivers looking for engaging and educational activities to enjoy with their kids, we have options for airport enthusiasts and other interests.
We are proud to be part of Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education that recognizes the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. It is an opportunity for us to showcase the excellence of our educational programs and the dedication of our staff.
We would like to acknowledge the Guringai People, the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We pay respect to the elders, both past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people present.

"Some classes have no permanent teacher and may have 2 to 3 temp teachers for a year. There is no PE teacher for years. This year, no lollipop traffic controller. The school has stopped participating ICAS for years without any reason. The number of K classes is down to 2 and half in 2022. When the school was in a good shape, it had more than 6 K classes, but it was more than 10 years ago! Teachers are either old with old school of teaching or new with limited experiences. The good teachers that I have met are no longer there. I have heard some kids complaining about the same teacher watching YouTube during the class and let kids do whatever they want without teaching any lesson. The teacher has been in the school for at least more than 13 years. I am sure parents there would know who I am talking about. One of the my kids told me he wanted to be that teacher in future as nothing to do and can play pc games and watch YouTube and can have good paid. Many students have left the school in the middle of the terms. I can tell parents are so angry with the school. LEPS was a good public primary school in the past, but since the former principal left, then the school is going downhill in recent years. If you don't care above, then this is the school for your kids."
"convenient location if you have a car. school is full of attentive students."
