At Taverners Hill, the small class sizes enable every student to be heard and receive the attention that is important during the early years. Being an Infants School, the teachers are all experienced in early education and go above & beyond to understand & assist each of the children's individual’s needs. It was such a smooth transition for my child from preschool and it has been enriching to see each child feel safe, grow in confidence, and enjoy being at school each day. "We can not praise Taverners Hill enough. This truly is a 5 star teaching establishment. The staff here go above & beyond their job roles to understand & assist each of the children's individuals needs in a way that suits their individual personalities & learning capabilities. With only 30-40 pupils from K-Yr2 it really creates a small family environment. The children all play together & know all the staff equally as well as their form tutor. The small intimate classes enables your child to get untold 1:1 assistants & the children work closely together. It creates such a close nit bond across all three years. They have a great understanding of individuals that may not find mainstream methods the easiest way to learn & have a great understanding of alternative ways in these cases. We have seen our little one grow not only academically over his school life here but as a person. The feeling of community and care that engulfs them from the beautiful caring staff shapes them into thoughtful, considerate kind children. This really is a great choice of school for those wishing to integrate their child into school life in an inclusive environment that celebrates individuals working together in a harmonious fun way. It's the perfect stepping stone into the big world of academia. A place where they can feel safe to be themselves & not get lost in large competitive classes. "Taverners Hill is such an amazing infants school. The teachers and staff are so friendly and supportive. The teachers always give you info about your child’s learning and are open to discussing any possible issues. My son has grown so much since coming here. The small student numbers are so beneficial to young children just starting to learn and experience about big school."

"I have a child attending Tavs. I love that this is a school for K-2 only. The teachers specialise in younger children and it really shows. It was such a great transition for my child from preschool. It's a small school - so not overwhelming and noisy - and teachers know every child. The school has great leadership and extra curriculars including drama and french. Before and after school care is run by TASK and they always have casual places - which is very convenient. There is a K-6 school much closer to where we live, but we travel the extra distance because Tavs is worth it!"
