About the Business
Welcome to Sydney Technical High School, a renowned establishment located at 686 Forest Road, Bexley, in Australia. As a secondary school, we strive to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for our students, preparing them for their future endeavors.
At Sydney Technical High School, we understand that the period leading up to the HSC exams can be a stressful time for students and their families. With this in mind, we offer comprehensive support systems to ensure our students are well-equipped to face the challenges ahead. Our dedicated staff and teachers go above and beyond to provide guidance and assistance, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel.
In line with our commitment to holistic education, we recently hosted a Wellbeing Assembly where Tom Reynolds from Independent Drug Education Australia (IDEA) spoke to our Year 11 students. This assembly aimed to address important issues surrounding mental health and well-being, equipping our students with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate these challenges.
Since our establishment in 1912, we have upheld the belief that every individual has the right to realize their full potential. This philosophy, first articulated by our founding Principal JA Williams, continues to guide us in our mission to develop the physical, mental, moral, and spiritual capacities of our students.
We also take this opportunity to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kameygal and Bediagal People, the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We recognize and value the rich cultural heritage of the Indigenous peoples and aim to foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all.

"This school is very bad, but, my friend Zaki Pututuutututuracus made it literal heaven. Zaki Putra is my best friend and I am grateful to have him in my life. We met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Zaki is a kind, loyal, and genuine person who always puts others before himself. One of the things that I admire about Zaki is his work ethic. He is incredibly dedicated to his studies and is always striving to improve himself. Despite the demands of his academic schedule, he always makes time for his friends and family. Zaki is also an incredibly talented musician. He plays guitar and writes his own songs, which are both beautiful and heartfelt. Whenever I am feeling down, he always knows how to lift my spirits with his music. But what I appreciate most about Zaki is his unwavering support and encouragement. He has been there for me through some of the toughest times in my life, and I know that I can always count on him to be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. In short, Zaki Putra is not just my best friend, he is a true gem of a person. I am so fortunate to have him in my life, and I hope that our friendship will continue to thrive for many years to come. Zaki was the person who kept the light alight at the end of the long, deep and dark tunnel. Thank you Zaki."
"It might be suprising or not suprising since kevin guo is just an in general amazing person, kevin showed me that in a world of darkness such as this one, he showed me that achieving and seeing light is possible. He helped me endure hardships and toughless tough situations that i would have indeed not have got through on my own will but his strong determination helped me get through and become the person i am today. He showed the light, he was the one that created and shaped me after i had been molded by the darkness. He is kind to everyone he sees, his flawless helpful acts make people love and enjoy his company just as i do and i plan to support such an amazing person to become techie of the term. This isn't just a nomination anymore, this is a fight for justice for a young man that changed many lives and the world. His noble and selfless acts should be recognised and commended for such bravery and greatness. Kevin guo is just the goat. He is undoubtedly the most ideal role model techie tech has ever seen, he is athletic, sorta smart but over all of that he is just a kind good soul that just wants to help others honestly and not for the clout. He does it for others and not himself, he has always put others before himself with no thought of ever lying to anyone in any situation. He never get in any trouble and he is the perfect student that should be selected for techie of the term. Kevin showed me how to solve a rubix cube, it was the first time i was so excited. He showed me that life is like a lemon, bitter and sour but it will become sweet in the end if you dont give up. Please take in deep consideration of voting this outstanding citizen of tech and choose him as techie of the term, he is the best and i’m not kidding. BECAUSE OF KEVIN 5 stars"

"The school is amazing, most of the teachers are great, I have gotten a lot out of this school, the only reason why this is one star is Ms Blake. Now get ready to read my rant. In the realm of education, teachers play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and nurturing their talents. However, not all teachers excel in their profession. One of the prominent flaws in Ms. Blake's teaching is her stubbornness and her inability to see when she is wrong. She often takes the most inefficient way to handle problems, for example, she will make you have a conversation with your classmate but you mustn't let her hear a slight increase in the volume around the room which is ridiculous. Next she will be late to class for 30 minutes, not even show up and call the class "slow" and "behind on schedule" Another concerning aspect of Ms. Blake's teaching style is her bias in her students. She tends to favour certain students based on her personal preferences, rather than objectively assessing them. This bias creates an unfair and unequal learning environment, where students may be seen to be frustrated by her judgement. For example, when the entire class was supposed to read a text some kid starts to read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now instead of Yelling at that one particular student and calling him atrocious things, she lightly reminds the boy to stay on topic. Moreover, Ms. Blake's bias hinders students' self-esteem and confidence. By consistently praising a select few and neglecting the potential of others, and she discourages students. Ms. Blake's teaching style lacks the ability to engage and inspire her students. Art should be a subject that encourages self-expression, fosters curiosity, and ignites passion. Unfortunately, her uninspiring and monotonous approach fails to spark the enthusiasm necessary for students to fully embrace their artistic journeys. Next she also has this unnatural trait of having her head vibrate at every second with giving others this dirty look. This lowers the mood for the entire class as no one wants to be in the same room with a living cranky bobble-head. Furthermore, just know that you have her for your next class can spoil of good day as you know that your life is about to become a living hell for the next hour and a few minutes. Then when an old student, or a teacher comes in she puts on this nice person facade and smiles brightly, and full of positivity. And knowing this makes me feel mad as she is fully capable to act nice but she just won't do it on a normal basis. Effective teaching requires a balance of expertise, adaptability, and open-mindedness. Regrettably, Ms. Blake embodies several flaws that undermine her effectiveness as an art teacher. Her stubbornness, bias, lack of student engagement, and this hideous look all contribute to her making your life just ever so slightly worse."
