Our school community is known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with a strong connection between the school and the church. We celebrate mass alongside parents, grandparents, and other community members, ensuring a spirit of inclusion. Additionally, we actively support those in need in our local and wider communities through various charities.
As part of the Sydney Catholic Schools, we are one of over 150 low-fee Catholic schools in the Sydney Archdiocese. We are a thriving Catholic community that ignites a love for Christ through excellent teaching and learning, empowering our students to reach their full potential.

"If room for your child to play during lunch is a priority for you, this is not the school for you. If autonomy for your child is important to you, this is not the school for you. If easy open communication with your child's teacher is important to you, this is not the school for you. If a supportive learning environment is important to you, this is not the school for you. If small class sizes are important to you, this is not the school for you. Heed my warning, this is a school with little to no play areas. This school started off amazing, but due to expansion and change of staff, this school is no longer the STFX that once was. I have never been happier to leave a school. I would not recommend enrolling your children in this school."
"I don't know if i need to explain this already but this school has made an impact to my friends life horribly. I've seen arguments, fights occur and the teachers didn't barely did anything to stop it and it didn't work on the harassment. Do you know what they did? Just a suspension, like that'll do anything. Ever since the 2022 principal came the school has been declining rapidly, from the library being turned into a " collaborative learning space " . Sports is the only thing they favour over everything at all, coming from a student myself, i've seen friends who have been relentlessly bullied into having depressive thoughts, i've also seen students using inappropriate language that is not acceptable for a catholic school. If you want to be the top school ever, consider changing your ways."
"The school's great, kinda. I read some reviews and noticed the school and the rates are changing, the rates going lower than before. I recommend switching the school back to how it was before as it will gain more love, happiness and the safe, cozy feeling. A lot of reviews talk about bullying and "deal with it" problems. I agree on this as it definitely has been happening and many, many teachers keep on telling the students to deal with it, even if they're bleeding immensely. Some teachers are cruel, others are fair and nice. I would like more notice to the teachers to see if they're doing well or not, and most definitely not telling students to deal with a tricky situation that they absolutely cannot solve. Students are mean. Particularly the boys. Lots of people are getting bullied, mentally, physically, online and it's harming their confidence. I've seen students manipulate teachers before, making the teachers see how "fantastic" they are. The teachers should be able to catch a lying student. They must. Absolutely must. Also, in the older grades, lots of students use inappropriate language and it's not suitable for a Catholic school. The teaching isn't bad. It's informative and will help students at some point. It gets more complicated (not too much, just enough) for the students and it's honestly amazing. Keep that the same for the future. The school should become the way it used to be. I'd love that, many others would love that and the school will be more safe. Please see what you're doing wrong, it's making a lot of students uncomfortable, including some parents that are worried about their kids."
"Staff don’t attend to student health needs and dismiss bullying. I have known a handful of people who have been cyber bullied called fat crippled ect. This school is LAZY and have no DRIVE for anything including the students mental health!"
"This school has a major bullying problem children were told to “just deal with it”. Unfortunately the staff has been slowly dissolving into a group of individuals who bullied and mocked the kids. I know for certain that many other people feel strongly that this school is one of the worst in the area. I absolutely do not recommend sending your child here if you want them to succeed academically rather the school is more sports based and favors special needs over high achievers and regular children. This brings me to my next point the academic standard of the school has been lowered to a new low for a catholic school. Not only has St Francis Xavier stopped their Numan program for high achievers they have started giving more easier work with the idea of making the kids challenge themselves! With work that’s as easy as 1 + 6.6! When the principle changed in the recent years they decided to get rid of the library to make a “Collaborative Learning Space” after realizing that maybe books were important to a child’s development they changed it back but thousands were spent on the mistake that should’ve been obvious in the first place. Unfortunately in the recent years the school has slowly became a teacher driven bullying cesspool. I absolutely do not recommend sending your kids here."
