About the Business
Welcome to First Grammar Wyoming, a leading early education and child care centre located in Wyoming on the Central Coast of Australia. Situated on Cordelia Street, just a short distance from Wyoming Shopping Centre, our centre is easily accessible for families living or commuting through the area. We are proud to be a point of interest and establishment in the community, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At First Grammar Wyoming, we believe that a child's first steps to learning are crucial, and we are dedicated to creating a space where children can thrive. As soon as you enter our doors, you'll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. Our shared yard features a range of engaging facilities, including a large sandpit, herb gardens, a stage, a rabbit hutch, gross motor climbing equipment, a basketball hoop, and a bike track. Designed to promote physical development and exploration, these spaces allow children to challenge themselves and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. We believe that spending time outdoors is essential for children's overall health and wellbeing.
Inside our centre, your child will find a wealth of opportunities for exploration and learning. Our indoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to invite curiosity and creativity, with high-quality resources and purposeful play spaces. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences that align with children's interests and learning goals. Through activities such as storytelling, building, scientific exploration, art, and design, literacy and numeracy concepts are seamlessly integrated into play-based learning.
We understand that nutrition plays a vital role in a child's development, which is why we provide nutritious meals made daily by our in-house cook. Our meals cater to all dietary requirements, including Halal, and shared mealtimes between children and educators foster strong relationships and model healthy eating practices.
At First Grammar Wyoming, every day presents a new opportunity for learning experiences. Our dedicated educators regularly program for each child, incorporating activities related to science, music, sport, creative arts, and language learning. We utilize the Ella Language Program, offering children the chance to learn languages such as French, Italian, or Chinese.
We believe in the importance of community engagement, and our centre actively participates in local excursions and welcomes special guests and community members. These experiences include nature walks, visits to nearby parks, shops, schools, and interactions with local service providers like the fire service and dentist. We also celebrate cultural events throughout the year, reflecting the diversity of our local community and fostering an appreciation for different cultures.
Sustainability is a core value at First Grammar Wyoming, and we strive to instill in children a sense of environmental responsibility. Through activities such as composting, worm farming, tending to our herb garden, and caring for our rabbits, children develop an understanding of the interdependence between land, people, plants, and animals.

"My daughter has only been at this centre for a short time but she absolutely loves it! The educators are very warm and friendly and have been absolutely amazing at making my daughter feel welcomed. First grammar provides stimulating and engaging experiences for the children which my daughter loves!"
"Both children go to First Grammar Wyoming. We specifically chose this daycare due to the smaller size and the homely atmosphere. The educators are great and our children both enjoy going."
"Both of our children have attended First Grammar Wyoming since they were babies, and we couldn't have asked for a better day care. The staff at the centre are very caring and supportive, while also providing interesting and educational activities for the kids. Their preschool program is great, and our daughter was able to slot straight into having fun at school."
"I cant fault First Grammar Wyoming at all. They make sending my little girl to daycare so stress free and easy. I love the friendly atmosphere and the attention to detail in regards to the things they teach the children there. My little girl loves going to her little school as she calls it and enjoys all the healthy meals they supply. Such good value for money :)"
"I recently have changed my daughters daycare centre, after lots of research into the centres around Wyoming. It was the best move I have made, Claire is so much happier at her new centre. The staff are so friendly and Andrew is an excellent director. They always keep me up to date with Claire's day to day activities and are always honest and thoughtful. Claire has bonded with each individual staff member and has made some friends :) They provide very healthy food throughout the day, nappies, bed linen etc. It makes a huge difference and saves me time. The centre is well laid out, very safe, always clean and has a huge amount of age appropriate activities for my busy two year old. Love it"
