About the Business
At Cartwright World of Learning, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in Cartwright and the surrounding suburbs. Our long day care and early education centre is designed to inspire a love of learning in every child.
Located at Mawson Drive, 38, our centre is conveniently situated for families living or commuting through Cartwright, Sadler, Busby, and Miller. We take pride in our commitment to excellence and have received the prestigious recognition of Exceeding the National Quality Standard. This means that we meet and exceed the seven key quality areas that are crucial for children's learning and development.
When you enter our centre, you will be greeted by a world of exploration and discovery. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, natural gardens, a cubby house, slides, vegetable gardens, and play equipment that engage all the senses. We believe in the importance of uninterrupted play, allowing children to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Spending time outdoors also promotes overall health and wellbeing.
Inside our centre, children are encouraged to wonder, create, and test out their ideas in purposeful play spaces filled with quality resources and learning experiences. Our experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences tailored to each child's interests and goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are seamlessly integrated into play-based learning, fostering skills in architecture, storytelling, science, art, and design.
At Cartwright World of Learning, we understand the importance of nutritious meals for growing children. Our in-house cook prepares delicious and healthy meals daily, catering to all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships and provide opportunities to share stories and experiences, while also modeling healthy eating practices.
We believe in providing a wide range of experiences for children every day. Our centre offers engaging specialized programs, including dance and martial arts. We also organize excursions to nearby places such as aged care centers, primary schools, Cabramatta Creek, Mcgirr Park, and other areas in the local Cartwright community. Additionally, we welcome special guests and community members based on the children's interests, such as firefighters, dentists, police officers, doctors, yoga instructors, and healthy eating programs. Cultural events are also celebrated regularly to reflect the diversity in our local community.
As part of our World of Learning community, we are committed to partnering with you to provide high-quality education and care during your child's formative years. Our Family Support Team is always available to discuss your child care needs and help you navigate the enrollment process. Don't just take our word for it - here's what one of our satisfied parents had to say: "Wonderful experience so far. My son joined in Oct 2018. I see a drastic positive change in him. He is more socializing, more vocal & developing skills as per his needs. All thanks to the wonderful teachers - my son waves me goodbye, snuggles and hugs his teachers and feels so much loved and safe with them. Satisfied mother!"

"My son comes to this centre and everyday he’s got something new to tell me about how nice his teachers are and how much fun he has at childcare playing with his friends and doing so many activities he enjoys. I have put my son in other childcare’s but was forced to take him out because he was complaining about how he didn’t like going and wasn’t having any fun. Cartwright world of learning has honestly taught my son so much more about taking care of himself and sharing. And especially behaving. My son and I love this centre and the educators are the sweetest people ever. They’re always asking what my son enjoys and it means so much to me that they take into consideration how he will enjoy his day at childcare."
"Been wanting to write this review for a very long time but kept putting off but everytime i see the bruise on my sons face (still months after leaving), i had to give a honest review. I had my son enrolled in the baby room for almost a year since he was 1yo. He never settled in and always cried on the floor whenever I dropped him off. The staff kept telling me that some kids will take long time. I trusted them and gave benefit of the doubt and thought it might be him taking longer to settle. I should have trusted my gut instinct. Six months in one day he came home with a purple bruise on his ears, emailed manager with no reply. No incident reports. The teachers didn't even notice this happened. I'm sure he must have cried in pain when this happened. It was purple in colour and he would not allow us to touch it for a week due to pain. Second time I noticed a bruise on his face when I went to pick him up. That's the first thing I saw, it was very visible. Yet teacher on duty again didn't notice or pretend not to notice. She tells me that it could have happened in the morning. But I could not believe how they never notice such things. Again I emailed manager with no reply, no incident report, no follow ups. I had to call them following days to speak to a regular teacher. This was another big issue I had, if you want to know what your child did during the day, do not send them here. The reason I say this is because they have casual teachers who start at 3pm and they have no idea what happened during the day. They will just tell "he had a good day" or "check the app" BTW app was never up to date on time. One of the regular teacher was good but everybody else had no idea what was going on. Another reason to remove my child from their care is their lack of cleaning. They have only cleaners in the baby room only 3 times per week which I think is no where near enough in a place where kids are constantly sick (plus in the middle of covid). My son was sick almost every week from here and may have had only less than 10 weeks without sickness in the whole year. He is now very well settled in a new daycare. No crying no fighting. Happy as anything to go to his teachers and friends. Not once got sick since moving him in October 22. I am glad I removed him from here. Better late than never. Seeing all these positive reviews reminded me that they used to ask parents to give reviews. Also many staff have kids going there and I can see some staff names giving 5 star reviews. If anyone planning to send your child here, do your research and if your mumma instinct tells you there is something wrong, believe it and remove your child."
"Started my daughter here a couple of months ago. We love the kind, caring, supportive staff. We checked out other childcare centre and once we tour World of Learning we know this was the place. We felt comfortable right away. From each meal of the day to nappies, everything is supplied for. Ms Andrea took the time to answer all of our questions. Thank you so much ladies xx"
"My daughter has been attending Cartwright World of Learning for over 6 months and in that time I have been extremely happy with the whole experience. As a new mum I was quite nervous to send my child to a daycare at an early age, however in this time, she has grown and learnt so many new things, she absolutely loves her teachers and the activities they provide. I feel very comfortable sending my little girl to this daycare knowing that the manager and all the educators care so much and treat her as if she’s their own. She has made lots of friends and is really enjoying her time there. I would highly recommend this daycare!"
"As a parent at Cartwright world of learning, I am very happy with the services and professionalism myself and my son have received at the centre! My son is usually very shy and the lovely educators have helped him and he has improved so much emotionally and learning wise, they go above and beyond every day and we are very grateful.."
