Welcome to BBI - The Australian Institute of Theological Education, located in Pennant Hills, Australia. Our institution is a point of interest, school, and university that offers an inclusive and flexible environment for genuine faith formation.

At BBI-TAITE, we believe that faith formation should be accessible to all, which is why we have adopted a student-centered approach in our awards and courses. Our learning and teaching methods are designed to build your understanding of faith and mission, ensuring that you receive a quality education.

We are passionate about expanding theology as a connected way of embracing life. We understand that shame is a topic that affects all of us, yet it is often not well discussed and easily misconstrued. That is why we aim to create a safe and open space for dialogue and exploration.

In addition, we recognize the importance of canonizations in encouraging the living rather than rewarding the dead. The upcoming canonization of John Henry Newman will be a cause for celebration, especially in educational institutions like ours.

As we strive to mend our broken earth and reclaim our environment for future generations, we draw inspiration from the spirit of Francis of Assisi. His teachings guide us in embracing a more sustainable and compassionate way of living.

We believe that God is the ultimate writer, with an idea for a world where men and women live in love and harmony. Jesus, the human "face" of that idea, is the embodiment of God's love and teachings. Through our education and faith, we aim to bring this idea to life.

The Spirit of God flows through our community, providing us with compassion and peace. This spirit shapes and directs our actions, just as it did for Jesus' community. We strive to be vessels of God's love and share it with the world.

Today, on the mount of the Ascension, Jesus entrusts us with his life and the Gospel of healing, compassion, reconciliation, and hope. We are called to continue his work and spread God's love to all.

Over the years, almost 100 graduating students from BBI-TAITE have been challenged to put their theological education into action. We encourage them to ask questions and engage with the rapidly changing world around them, using their knowledge to make a positive impact.
