Founded in 1992, the Greek Folk Dancers of NSW is an integral part of our institution. We offer Greek dance lessons and exhibitions for all levels, from Juniors to Adults. Our classes are held in the evenings at various locations throughout Sydney. Whether you are part of a community group, an adult, a child, or planning a wedding, we have special programs tailored to your needs. You can even hire our talented dancers for your next event. Rest assured, all our instructors are accredited teachers with the necessary authority to work with children.

At the Institute of Hellenic Dance & Culture, we are proud to offer a range of projects throughout the year. One of our highlights is the Vimata Greek Folk Dance Workshops, where participants can immerse themselves in the beauty and intricacies of Greek dance. Additionally, we have Explore Greek Dance Courses, Teacher Accreditation Courses in Greek Dance, and a vibrant choir group. The Hellenic Cultural Society Inc, which is closely affiliated with our institution, was established by a group of dancers and friends who share a deep love for Hellenic culture. Throughout the year, we organize cultural events, workshops, and lectures, all aimed at sharing our Australian Greek identity with the wider Australian community. As part of our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, we also offer our KEEP FIT Program, which includes high-energy traditional dance classes called 'ENERGIA'.
