Welcome to The Beach School, a unique institution located in the serene suburb of Allambie Heights, Australia. As a NSW Department of Education School for Specific Purposes (SSP), we cater to students in years 7 - 12, providing them with a nurturing and supportive environment to overcome emotional and academic challenges.

Nestled amidst quiet, tree-lined streets, our small campus offers a tranquil setting where students can reflect, heal, and grow. Our holistic program is specially designed to help students develop the necessary skills to become successful learners. We focus on expanding their resilience, teaching them to manage and communicate their emotions effectively, and strengthening their connections with themselves and those around them.

At The Beach School, we believe in building genuine connections with our students, their families and carers, as well as the wider community and industry. By fostering these relationships, we aim to enhance educational outcomes for all our students. Every student is accepted, known, valued, and cared for, and our personalized programs ensure that they are well-informed and able to make healthy lifestyle choices regarding their education and vocational options.

With a strong focus on developing skills for success, our aim is to empower our young people to better prepare themselves for their future lives and the jobs of tomorrow. We understand the importance of technology in education, which is why we provide Technology 4 Learning (T4L) online resources to our students, offering them great tech solutions for the classroom.

As part of our commitment to reducing the financial burden on families, we are pleased to participate in the Premier's Back to School NSW Vouchers program. This program, worth up to $150, helps lower the cost of school expenses for the academic year.

We also take immense pride in celebrating the achievements of our students, colleagues, and peers in Aboriginal education. The Nanga Mai Awards serve as a platform to recognize excellence in this field.
