About the Business
Welcome to Narrabeen North Public School, a highly regarded educational institution located in the beautiful suburb of North Narrabeen, Australia. Situated on Namona Street, our school is a point of interest for parents and caregivers seeking a safe, happy, and caring environment for their children's education.
At Narrabeen North Public School, we are committed to providing an engaging and educational experience for our students. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff work tirelessly to ensure that each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive community where every child feels valued and supported.
As part of our commitment to excellence, we actively participate in Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education. This event recognizes the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students, highlighting the incredible work being done in our education system.
We also value the input and feedback of our parents and carers. The Department of Education has shared a draft plan for NSW public education, inviting parents and carers to contribute their valuable insights. We believe in the power of collaboration and strive to create an educational environment that meets the needs and aspirations of our entire community.
At Narrabeen North Public School, we believe in providing enriching experiences beyond the classroom. Our Stage 1 students will have the opportunity to explore the Wildflower Garden, immersing themselves in nature's wonders. This excursion will take place from Monday, September 11, 2023, to Wednesday, September 13, 2023, with each student attending on a designated day.
We also host regular P&C meetings in our school library, providing a platform for parents and caregivers to engage with the school community and contribute to important discussions.
Due to ongoing building works, our Banner Assemblies have undergone some changes. These assemblies will now be held in the Double Domes, with only recipients and their parents in attendance. Please note that the dates for this term's banner assemblies have changed. The K-6 Banner Assembly in Week 6 will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. The K-6 Banner Assembly in Week 9 will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this time.
In September, we are excited to host our inaugural color run, a fun-filled fundraiser for all students. This event will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, on our back field from 1 pm to 3 pm. It promises to be a memorable day for our school community.
As we approach the end of Term 3, please note that Friday, September 22, 2023, will be the last day of the term. We encourage students and families to make the most of this time and prepare for the exciting Term 4, which begins on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 9 am.
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We also extend our respect to Elders, both past and present, for their wisdom and guidance.

"The staff have taken time to listen to the needs of my child and prepare a suitable plan that accommodates her needs. I have been more than happy with their approach."

"I went to NN as a child and after a disappointing experience at a catholic school, I pulled all of my kids out and enrolled them in NN. The students are so kind and welcoming towards my children, the teachers are warm and intuitive plus the ladies in the office are beyond helpful and organised. The school is very exciting with zoo excursions, carnivals, discos and Heathy Harold visits all planned this term. The playground is huge surrounded in nature with plenty of different zones to play in, including boat-herb gardens and an outdoor jungle gym. All round amazing experience, my only regret is not enrolling them sooner!"
"Last year (2021) was an atrocious year to say the least but the way the school handles situations was disgraceful! My son was in kindergarten and he was displaying some very alarming behaviours and nothing was done to assist. The assistant principle who is the year coordinator never once reached out, his kindy teacher called me but the conversation was pointless and didn’t amount to anything! The kids that had to go to school were barely taught a thing all year! We ended up leaving the school as I believe their teacher turnover is through the roof now and there is no accountability or attempt to fix issues that arise! The school never contacted us for an exit interview either! I would research this school before deciding to send your child there! Massive bullying problem both there and the OOSH as well! If you can, I would find a better school for your child"
"One of the best schools I have ever attended, loved it. The band was such a great thing to be in, it was small but it was the best. That school taught me a lot of thing and forever greatful for it. After and before school care were always great fun weather it was laser tager or the old banjo and kazooie game, there was always something to do"
