Exceptional education requires passionate and dedicated staff who value each individual student. Our teachers are highly knowledgeable in their subject areas and are committed to teaching the whole person, not just the curriculum.
At Redlands, we believe in a whole-of-school approach to teaching and learning. This ensures that each educational stage builds upon earlier learning phases and lays the foundation for successful learning in the future.

"Potential Employees: Be careful if applying to work here- Head of Secondary takes it upon herself to call unlisted references (tends to call who she knows for privileged insights)."
"My son is loving the school so far, as an alumni it is precisely what I expected. Luceat Lux Vestra."
"Y everyone yelling on this school? It was a great school and it was one of my the most happiest time through in my life. From 1995 to 1997. All my folks helped me alot, not to be lonely in the middle of nowhere. Miss y'all"
"If there is one thing i've learnt from private education it's that any school with a latin motto is rooted deeper in violent satanism than the american democrat party. "Let your light shine", it sounds nice, it's encouraging, but you know what shines? Fire. Hellfire. You wanna know why they did the place up? I'll tell you, it's because i found it, i found what they were hiding in their cistern beneath the L block (this is why it's heritage listed btw). It was a thursday afternoon, and i was skipping the allocated sport session but for good reason, a stitch in the carpet had come loose earlier that day during a Chinese lesson and a warm air sauntered from the split, the air smelt faintly of egg. While the students and staff were engaging in their mandatory sport allocation, i snuck into the old building and tore away at the carpet to reveal an old, moulded trap door that led into the bowels, the evil and terrifying cistern (sponsored my Mercedes). As i ventured down and the amber lights of L.1.3 faded ever more to darkness, i reached the belly of the site. A grand concrete hall beneath the courtyard that had been host to spiders and vines that carved unnatural runes into the walls. In the middle of the chamber was a demon, with blood-red skin and horns from a goat. He wore a black apron that read 'kiss the chef' and was cooking yesterdays leftover chicken goujons from the canteen. As i walked forward he saw me, and his head snapped to meet my gaze. "luceat lux vestra". You know what that means? you guessed it, let. your. light. shine. Friggin' demon tongue! As soon as it spoke my cavities were filled with flame and fire that burned with the heat of a thousand suns. As the flames thrashed against my flesh like the beating of waves in a storm, i found the truth. My name is now etched onto the plaque of prominent investors as my flames were the catalyst that cracked the concrete and plagued the paint with those annoying little moisture bubbles. Needles to say my wanton disregard for minor levels of maintenance was all the board needed to put the go ahead on the master plan. You're welcome, Lennox. These days i mostly just use the powers of the Redlands devil to start nationwide forest fires but i'll never forget my time at this well esteemed and successful place of education :)"
"An amazing school with such a welcoming environment to people of all backgrounds and orientations, not just by the staff but within the student cohorts as well. Redlands has a fantastic focus on the arts and sports and encourages you to jump at every opportunity, always striving for fairness among the school community. Some of the reviews below complain about what you would at most other private schools in Sydney (expensive fees, strict uniform policies, chapel etc.) but it’s just part of the experience that you have to live with when attending a private school and makes you more resilient in the end."
