About the Business
Welcome to Loreto Kirribilli, an award-winning, independent Catholic school for girls located in the beautiful suburb of Kirribilli, Sydney. With a history spanning over 400 years and a global network of Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM) schools, Loreto Kirribilli is committed to inspiring strong, hope-filled women who can make a positive difference in our world.
At Loreto Kirribilli, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that caters to the diverse interests and talents of our students. From participating in music festivals to excelling in rowing and robotics, there is something for everyone here. Our dedicated teachers and supportive community foster a growth mindset, encouraging our students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
One of the highlights of our school is the seven-storey Spiritus building, which houses a range of dynamic and versatile learning spaces and studios. Designed to enhance cross-curricular learning, foster creative and critical thinking, and inspire an entrepreneurial mindset, these state-of-the-art facilities provide our students with an innovative and engaging learning environment.
We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2022 for their outstanding HSC results. These achievements reflect their growth mindset, the unwavering support and care they have for each other, and the dedication of our exceptional teachers. We would also like to congratulate three of our students who achieved First in Course in the 2022 Higher School Certificate.
In addition to academic excellence, Loreto Kirribilli also values the holistic development of our students. Our school offers a range of co-curricular activities and opportunities for personal growth. We are proud to have 22 students placed on the NSW 2022 Higher School Certificate All Rounders' list, demonstrating their dedication to a well-rounded education.
As an alumna of Loreto Kirribilli, you become part of the Loreto Kirribilli Ex-students' Union, connecting you with past pupils of Kirribilli as well as ex-students of other Loreto schools residing in Sydney. Our LK Connect program further enhances this connection by providing a platform for students to connect with industry professionals and explore potential career paths.
Walking down the front drive as senior school girls for the first time is a memorable experience for every Loreto Kirribilli student. It symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter filled with nerves, excitement, and endless possibilities. We are proud to have played a part in shaping the lives of countless young women and empowering them to become leaders in their chosen fields.
Located at 85 Carabella Street, Kirribilli NSW 2061, Australia, our school is easily accessible and offers a safe and nurturing environment for our students to thrive. To stay connected with our community, we encourage parents and students to download the Loreto Kirribilli App, available for free on the Apple Store and Google Play.
As we continue our journey, we acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we stand, the Cammeraygal people of the Eora Nation. May we continue to love and respect the land as they have.

"Amazing school! My daughter and all of us are very proud to be part of Loreto Kirribili community. Educators are fantastic and knowledgeable. Their values have guided our daughter to be a good human being and also a successful woman."
"horrible school with some of the worst students and teachers i've met. most of the time the teachers here are demeaning and care more about your childs uniform rather than their education, shaming students who dare dress out of the socitial norm as it doesn't reflect the "loreto values". i highly advise not sending your child here as loreto is hell on earth for the rich"
"I don't recommend sending your child to this school because the teacher are very rude, the punishments are unfair the homework is useless. It is also just an overall bad school. The teachers also do not help when your children when there is drama between them and other students."
