Welcome to Niruthyothaya School of Dance, a renowned institution located at 16 Stapleton Street, Wentworthville, Australia. As an establishment of interest and a school, we offer Bharathanatyam Dance Classes, specializing in Indian Classical dance. Our classes are conducted by Ajanthini Carthigeyan, who holds a BFA 1st Class in Bharathanatyam from the University of Jaffna and has previously served as a Bharathanatyam Dance Lecturer at the same university in Sri Lanka.

At Niruthyothaya School of Dance, we are dedicated to preparing our students for the Australian Carnatic Music Association Exams. Mrs. Ajanthini Carthigeyan, the founder and director of Niruthyothaya School of Dance, has a rich background in Bharathanatyam. Inspired by her father, S Rajasegaram, she began her dance journey at the young age of five under the guidance of Guru Thommai Kutti and "Kalakeerthi" Shanthini Shivanesan. Ajanthini's exceptional talent as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer has been recognized through her numerous achievements in Bharathanatyam. She graduated with first class honors from her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Bharathanatyam from the University of Jaffna. Additionally, she completed her first-year external master's degree from the University of Madras, which led to her appointment as a permanent lecturer at the University of Jaffna.

Recently, Niruthyothaya School of Dance celebrated its 10th official year in Wentworthville with "Salangai Naatham 2022". It was a joyous occasion where we honored our talented dancers and the success of our dance school. On Vijayadasami, a propitious day to embark on new learning journeys, our teachers and students dress in festive and cultural attire, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
