"PURCHASED FAULTY BANGLE AND STORE REFUSES TO REPLACE OR REPAIR EVEN THOUGH IT IS STILL IN WARRANTY PERIOD. DO NOT PURCHASER ANYTHING FROM HERE! I have purchased a $700 9ct gold bangle from this store and after less than a year of infrequent wear there are cracks in the bangle. The store manager Zoe flat out refused to replace or repair the bangle, she said that a crack falls under ‘general wear and tear’ and there was nothing she could do about it. You would expect after spending so much money on a product that it would not crack within a year. I have now taken this to further to fair trading and hopefully the store is held responsible. This is not the first time this has happened, I had purchased a gold ring from here before and cracks appeared in the ring less than 6 months of owning it. They took 12 weeks to replace it and admitted the product was faulty however it took incredible persistence. No contact whatsoever and they don’t answer their phone."

"I purchased a watch for my partner from this store in April for his birthday that was in July. On the day of his birthday he had opened the gift and noticed there was tarnishing on the inside of the watch band and on the watch face. Given that the watch had not been touched, I decided to take it back here to see what could be done. The lady who served me looked at the watch and said to me because I had kept it in the box away from air for so long it had tarnished.. I was quite confused about that comment and she further proceeded to tell me that its not real gold so what do you expect. I expect for a $300 brand name watch to last in a box untouched longer than 3 months. She said she couldn't do anything for me so I left. I went to another goldmark store for a second opinion. Without hesitation the manager filed a claim for me to send the watch for repairs. Successfully, the watch was repaired by the repairs company free of charge due to warranty. Just goes to show how lazy Eastgardens store is to fill out some paper work and mail out the watch for repairs."

"Would definitely steer away from this place. Some staff are friendly, however, for the majority customer service doesn’t seem to exist at all. Purchased a ring to order in a different size, sales person advised me that it would take 2-4 weeks, most likely 2. That’s fine, they’ve set the expectations …. Only when I called at the 4 week mark, another person tells me that it’s usually 4-6 weeks. Wrong expectations set, that’s fine, water under the bridge. We’re coming up to 7 weeks now with no news after numerous follow-ups. Extremely disappointing experience and sad to say, but it seems that this a reflection of Gold Mark as a whole. All you need to do is look at the huge amount of negative reviews. Do yourself a huge favour and stay far far away, your hard earned money is better getting thrown into a fire pit than to be spent at Gold Mark."

"Customer service is non-existent. Even the manager was very rude. Spent over 1k for a ring and resizing then waited for 1 month for the resizing but my ring didn't get resized properly. No phone calls until I followed up. I paid upfront for the resizing service but the manager didn't provide me with a receipt and when I collected my ring she insisted that I haven't paid for it. Basically my money got stolen. The service was disgusting. Don't ever purchase from this outlet! Had a very bad experience here."
