"Most teachers in this school are really nice but can't really teach or really bad and can teach, but kids don't want to listen because they are loud and mean. The teachers can't handle the kids in the school nor can they handle the big problems like vaping and fights. You will see at least 5 fights a term. If your child isn't considered "normal" they will probably be bullied or at least hit a few times. The big layout of the school allows there to be a lot of areas to go around at recess at lunch, allowing a variety of people to be in different areas at the same time instead of being crammed into one playground. A large layout is good for the students but bad for the teachers as if there is a fight they can just go to an area where teachers will likely not be at and just brawl it out all they want. The school doesn't have many good options for electives, other schools have a lot better options and if you choose the good one your either gonna get groomed by some teacher or barely learn. Most of the facilities are pretty bad, the math unit still uses books which makes the kids not really want to write or learn as it has mostly switched to laptops and every single other class uses it."
"This school is one of the most unique schools in Australia, in my time I have seen multiple fights in ONE RECESS break. There was a BOMB THREAT. The amount of vapes in this school is ridiculous. I personally would never bring my kids to this school due to the multiple teachers being sacked for touching/trying to touch kids. More about the teachers, half of them are very difficult to understand and fail to teach them leading to more then half the class failing the subject. There have been multiple suicide attempts at this school. Onto the good things about this school 1) The teachers are either very good or very bad its more of a chance to learn then to fail 2) The school has a big layout which is good for recess breaks and sports. 3) The school offers a lot of career pathways and opportunities 4) The school is a gateway school making it a lot easier to get into University/TAFE That's my review for Jamison High school"
"Very bad school. Teachers are very rude, principal is very very rude. The school and classrooms are very dirty and not clean, the toilets are DISGUSTING!!!!!!!"
"Its's okay to say the least but the school is usually filthy, bullying goes under the teachers noses most of the time. But many reviews here specifically by "Jamison Student" seem fake and made by the school because honestly who calls their own account "Jamison Student""
"The new principal is outstanding! The majority of the teachers are amazing, especially the science faculty. The updated uniform is a great improvement on the old one, it looks respectable and decorous. I would absolutely recommend the school for a quality education and a pleasant schooling experience"
