Welcome to The Vocal School, located at 56 Heather Road in Winmalee, Australia. As a qualified teacher and experienced performer, I have been providing my services to people of all ages in the Sydney area since 1981. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced performer, I am here to give you the professional and artistic attention that will allow you to perform at your best.

I hold a BMus from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, an M Mus from the University of Northern Iowa, and a Diploma of Operatic Arts and Music Theatre from the Sydney Conservatorium. I am a graduate of the opera programs of The Sydney Conservatorium, The University of Northern Iowa, and Southern Illinois University, giving me extensive experience as a professional performer in Opera, Music Theatre, Cabaret, Folk, and Popular music. This has allowed me to acquire expertise in a wide range of vocal styles.

Many of my students have gone on to become graduates of prestigious tertiary colleges such as the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, WAAPA, the University of Western Sydney, the Australian Institute of Music, and the Young Americans College of the Performing Arts in Corona, California, USA.

I have a deep passion for the rapidly expanding advantages of voice science and its practical application for anyone wishing to make the most of their voice. This applies not only to singing but also to speech performance. I offer my expertise to professional speakers in a variety of genres, helping them develop the essential skills required for successful presentations and acting. Whether it be drama, radio, voice over, corporate presentations, public speaking, debating, or simply improving confidence and polish for a special occasion, I am here to help.
