"The lowest rated Hype DC in Sydney and very well deserved. Went today 20/04 - guy & girl on counter chatting, gossiping, laughing, having a great time and working really hard to ignore customers. There were about 4 people milling around, two of us actually holding shoes to try on trying to get their attention and nope, pretending no customers exist. As in they weren't even looking around. These two should have just stayed at home - absolute lazy dead weights. Why have a 50% off sale if your lazy staff won't even help customers out? To the managers commenting on every negative review. Are you guys actually gonna do something about these staff because obviously nothing is happening. If I was the manager at this store, I'd be embarrassed to go to work."

"Went in a few days ago and was greeted by Ben (I'm almost sure that was his name). He was very helpful and just a really genuine guy who made sure my experience was impeccable and I got what I came in for."

"Unfortunately I can endorse the below review.. We frequent the centre and our local HYPEDC Store quite a bit, however on our most recent visit within the last few months we were dissatisfied with the inconsiderate and rude attitude of staff.. My husband and I brought my daughter in to get her a new pair of shoes for her birthday as we have been repeat purchase customers over the last few years. We entered and were not greeted by anyone- merely 2 workers a young girl with curly hair and a short stocky boy behind the counter having what sounded like an inappropriate conversation. We had a look around the store and staff remained chatting !!!! With no prior acknowledgement I approached the counter with a shoe to which they then both proceeded to go out the back chatting and giggling with the door open while I patiently waited on the couch with my daughter. She had her mind set on wanting those shoes however at this point we had already been ignored and were dissatisfied and I did not want to spend my money there. Being restricted on time in having to buy decorations for her birthday party- we made our way out the store as it was evident their conversation took precedent to our presence. It is safe to say we will not be returning to this store."

"Have just spent last 20 mins in Hype Castle Towers, worse customer service I have ever experienced. It’s the second time in a month, I have not received satisfactory service. Staff standing around laughing and talking , completely ignoring me, when one staff did attend to my request, she continued to chat to staff, without coming back to see if I required further assistance. I would have purchased goods, but I would have liked to have been shown other styles. Never did they look my way or speak to me again. I walked out , disappointed without purchasing anything. Second time within a month, you must be one of the only stores doing well in this present climate. Obviously, no need to give good customer service. I will not be back."
