Additionally, we create pathways that connect our services to other community agencies that can provide further support.

Our range of services includes supported playgroups, home support, facilitating connections to the community, helping with school transitions, and identifying development needs early on. We believe that early education and care are essential, which is why we offer accessible and affordable Early Education and Care Centres that implement play-based learning.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Strategic Plan, and we owe a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to its formation. This plan focuses on two key areas: Birth to Three Matters and People, Capability, and Culture.

We understand that the first three years of a child's life are crucial for their lifelong health, well-being, and learning. Positive experiences during this period lay a strong foundation for their future. Therefore, we prioritize providing a nurturing and supportive environment during these formative years.

At Lapstone Preschool, we are excited to share the completion of our outdoor renovations. Our vision was to create a beautiful and natural space for children to explore and investigate. We have incorporated natural elements such as sandstone blocks, a wattle tree, and a veggie patch. Additionally, we have added a Gunya hut, water pump, handcrafted xylophone, and more! This project showcases the wonderful collaboration within the Blue Mountains community. The educators, families, and children are all eagerly anticipating spending many days outdoors, enjoying this new space.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Department of Education and Trish Doyle MP for supporting our Community Building Partnership application and providing the funding that enabled us to create this new outdoor environment.
