"I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Prouds store in Penrith Westfield earlier today, around 1:00 PM. I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a 70cm necklace, as I had accompanied a friend who bought a beautiful necklace from your store last year. However, my experience today was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the store, I was attended to by a young female staff member. I explained to her that I was interested in a slim and long necklace, but I was informed that it was not on sale and priced at approximately $699. I requested to try it on before making a decision, and she kindly took me to a counter located further away from the entrance, providing a mirror for me to evaluate the necklace. Although I was puzzled as to why she led me away from the initial counter, I did not question her actions. Since there was another necklace on sale for the same price of $699, I expressed my interest in trying that one as well. The staff member brought the mirror and necklace back to the initial counter where we met, and then she proceeded to take the mirror and necklace to a counter even farther away from where I initially tried them on. At this point, she asked me if I had identification (ID), which confused me. I inquired about the reason for needing my ID, and she stated that it was required for trying on necklaces above a certain price threshold. Firstly, I would like to point out that the necklace I tried on initially was also priced at $699, the same as the second necklace. Secondly, when I accompanied my friend to purchase the same necklace last year, priced at $699, we were not asked to provide any form of identification. Furthermore, I have been a loyal customer of your store and have purchased at least five necklaces, one bracelet, two rings, and a pearl pendant. I find it disheartening and concerning that the level of service I received today was inconsistent with my previous experiences at your store. I never see any other customer required to provide ID before they try expensive anything in the store. This made me feel treated unfairly and impolitely."

"Brittany was excellent! I walked in not knowing what to get for a friend’s 18th except for a few (very vague) ideas, and walked out with the perfect gift that was under my budget!!! I couldn’t be happier!"

"Customer service is awful, very disappointed especially when u want to purchase an item in a hurry and she’s more busy with putting the stocks away in the shelves????? Don’t u want your sales first???? And bloody served your customers????? Also they assumed that I was after a watch links adjusted?? And No one bothered to come to you because they think you’re only after a favour by getting your watch links removed???? WTF! I should have gone to Angus n Coote!"

"This is the worst prouds store I have ever dealt with. I purchased a Seiko watch at this store which needed to have 3 links removed from the band. Staff member Robyn served me & also undertook to perform the link removal. Once she completed the task the watch was scratched & the band barely held on. I pointed this out & she replied "I signed on for LUNCH get someone else to Assist YOU". Extremely rude lacking customer relations & the skills in performing watchmakers duties. My advise is steer away from this jewellery store & Robyn. Reward yourself by shopping elsewhere and avoid the negativity displayed by this store & (ROBYN)!"
