Welcome to Burrundi Theatre: Dance Central, located at 268 Cleveland Street in Surry Hills, Australia. As an establishment that focuses on gym, health, and the arts, we are proud to acknowledge and pay respect to the peoples, elders, and lands of the Gadigal Clan & EORA nations.

Burrundi Theatre is a first peoples multidisciplinary arts organization deeply rooted in Wiradjuri tribal philosophies, particularly the governing values of Yindyamarra - our spiritual lore of respect. Our purpose is to inspire and develop artists through employment, training, and career pathways. We are dedicated to revitalizing and preserving first peoples culture and arts practice, as well as advocating for the artist, arts and cultural education, community, and industry employment, training, and representation.

At Burrundi Theatre, we honor the sacrifices and legacy of our families and communities in New South Wales. We strive to continue the journey of modern-day political and social activism in the arts with respect and integrity. As a public event management and producer, we collaborate with communities to design and deliver small and large-scale events that celebrate first peoples' culture.

Dance Central, our commercial arm, offers open commercial dance classes for all levels and interests. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, our classes provide a fun and supportive environment to explore your passion for dance.

In addition to our dance classes, Burrundi Theatre also designs and delivers cultural arts workshops to the private and public school systems. We believe in the power of arts education to inspire creativity, promote cultural understanding, and enhance overall wellbeing.
