"Went to MMS for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had ordered a Mysore masala dosa along with a few other dishes. While the food was very average overall, the Mysore masala dosa was horrible to say the least. Anyone who has had a Mysore masala dosa would know that a red chilli chutney is used inside the dosa. However this place decided to use ketchup isntead. Ketchup inside a dosa!! Can't even imagine how this place is selling food like this. The coconut chutney that was served along with the food seemed like it was getting stale. It definitely was fresh and was made a few days back. If you are looking for authentic Indian / south Indian food - please do yourself a favour and avoid this place. In general the food is very oily and very average. Lastly, wanted to also point out that the cleanliness of the place really needs some work."
"Authentic South Indian cuisine. Tasty and delicious"
"Mirchi Madras Street impressed us with its tasty and authentic South Indian cuisine, especially the lamb kottu—a delightful blend of shredded roti, lamb, and egg. The cozy and inviting ambiance, adorned with colorful Madras-inspired décor, created a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. Coupled with attentive and knowledgeable service, Mirchi Madras Street delivered a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for those seeking genuine South Indian flavors in a welcoming setting."
"At last, got a chance to eat authentic chennai/TN style egg kothu parotta and chicken chukka kizhi parotta. Kizhi parotta was little spicy with shreaded green chillis, which can be avoided. Apart from that overall a good food taste wise and worth your money. Update: tried their Curry combo 2, which will have 2 non veg curries and 1 veg curry, papad and sweet ."
"I really want to give this spot more stars but unfortunately a few things knocked it down. The navarathna korma was made with a frozen pea and corn mix and no cashews and the sauce had a super mild flavour. But the banana leave-cooked kizhi parotta was nice. It was a bit pricey at $28 but was filling and well-flavoured."
