"I've been a customer of Athlete's Foot for years - mainly this shop in Chatswood Westfield. Great customer service from the very knowledgeable staff who always recommend the best fit. I had a couple of returns over the years and that was handled very professionally with the least inconvenience for us. Yesterday we were served by James (return and fit of a new pair) and I just want to give a shout to this polite young gentleman for his friendly and very professional service. "I visited on Saturday 3rd June 2023 and the store was very busy so I was prepared to wait as the staff were all occupied. The staff member nearest to me told me I was in his way and rolled his eyes at me every time he looked at me. At this stage I had not spoken to anyone. A person walked into the store and the staff member the thought I was in his way immediately walked over to her and after a brief discussion he told her he would serve her next. I walked out without having spoken to anyone. If I could give this store a zero rating I would. I will not be back."
"This is the worse experience ever. The store is under staff. Staff are too relaxed and doesn't care about customer service. Everyone is just waiting to be served and overwhelmed for not being acknowledged. Once served, staff is nice, not their fault they are under staff on a weekend."
"Recently purchased a work shoes. The sale who helped on the day asked if she can see the shoe size I'm wearing, then she brought me a pair to try. It was way too big, then I asked if I can try one size smaller, she brought me half size smaller. But I feel it was still too big. I asked if I can get 1 size smaller, then she replied "it will be too small for you", without even feeling by hand if the shoes was too big or not, she was just standing next to me waiting if I will get the shoes or not. I thought I should trust her & will give it a try. Now I regret the purchase so much, I should have just left. It's still too big & it makes my walking posture looks funny. Macquarie & Hornsby store has much better service than Chatswood store."
