About the Business
Welcome to Williamstown Little Theatre, located at 2 Albert Street in the beautiful coastal town of Williamstown, Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest that proudly showcases the vibrant performing arts scene in this region.
At Williamstown Little Theatre, we are passionate about bringing engaging and thought-provoking productions to our community. Our upcoming play, "Mother Miriam Ruth," is a gripping tale that delves into the complexities of faith, love, and the human psyche.
Set in a convent, the story revolves around a court-appointed psychiatrist, Dr. Livingstone, who is tasked with assessing the sanity of a novitiate accused of murdering her newborn. As Dr. Livingstone begins to investigate, he encounters resistance from Mother Miriam Ruth, the determined Mother Superior of the convent, who is intent on protecting Sister Agnes from the doctor's scrutiny.
As the mystery unfolds, the audience is left questioning who killed the innocent infant and who may have fathered the tragic victim. The intertwining narratives of these three women will take you on a journey that challenges their beliefs and forces them to confront the true meaning of faith and the power of love.
At Williamstown Little Theatre, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for both performers and audiences. We are committed to acknowledging and respecting the Traditional Owners of the land on which we perform, the Kulin Nation. We pay tribute to the Elders, both past and present, as well as those who are emerging as leaders in our community.
Join us at Williamstown Little Theatre for an unforgettable evening of live theatre that will leave you captivated, emotionally moved, and craving more. Experience the magic of the performing arts in the heart of Williamstown, where talent and creativity come alive on our stage.
