"Took Jack our long haired Jack Russell here asked for a trim around his eyes and bum, plus a nail clip. When I picked him up they had completely shaved him too a number one, had to change his name to Shawn. They are a bloody disgrace with no apologises and when I refused to pay she said “well what about the nails clipping” pathetic‼️ it’s now 6 months later and he’s still not at full length. Stay away‼️"
"After having a couple of bad (and very long drawn out) experiences with a couple of groomers up at Bondi Junction we tried Dandy Dog and it was quick and very tidy. Our little Shoodle grows hair quite quickly, and embarrassingly we are not good at brushing him, so we understand that he needs to be shaved when he goes to the groomers because of all the knots (first time grooming at a different groomers was a shock!). We've done a couple of groomings with Dandy and it has been much quicker and clearly a delicate hand has done the finishing because he looks very handsome when he's done."
"I hope I can give 0 star. This shop owner is pathetic and rediculous. Elton is a 9 year old Shiba Inu and Hacci is a 4 month old Akita which is a large breed dog. Puppy grows fast. I brought both of them to Dandy dog since Feb, the shop owner told me $80 for Elton and $60 for Hacci. But when I picked them up, she charged me $120 for Elton, saying Elton took her a lot of time. We used to go Puppuccino Pet Spa in Waterloo, they charged $65 for Elton. The only reason we here was because The Dandy Dog is closer to where we live. Before Easter, I only brought Hacci to the shop, the owner charged us $80 since Hacci grows bigger. I totally understand that, but they didn't do the nail cut, didn't clean her ears and just charged extra. The onwer kept saying 100 times, she should charge me more. I didn't negotiate, I mean she asked for $80, and I paid $80. I don't know what's her problem. The most rediculous thing is after a week, I was walking both of my dogs. The shop owner saw us, I thought she just gonna say hi to us. But she actually was angry at us and saying I lied to her because she thought Elton was larger than Hacci. But last time she saw both of them was 1 month ago, puppy grows very fast. Hacci is much bigger than Elton now. The shop owner yelled at us on the street asking me to pay her $120 instead of $80. She thought I brought Elton last week and lied to her it was Hacci for lower price. Such a rediculous and pathetic shop owner. She couldn't tell which one is a puppy and which one is an adult dog. I won't recommend this shop to anyone."
"I took my beautiful spoodle with beautiful long hair to get a groom. I asked for a winter trim and to keep her winter coat. They shaved her whole body very short. I’m honestly so disappointed - I can’t believe they would do that. And after reading other reviews I’ve seen they’ve done it before to other dogs - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!"
"I am writing this review after the groomers did not follow instructions surrounding how we wanted our dog groomed. We have a Pomeranian that has competed previously in grooming shows and needed to be groomed as her coat was getting too long, however her regular groomer is too far away (COVID restrictions) from us and had to use Dandy Dog. We wanted our Pom to be trimmed and groomed, NOT shaved. They claimed we asked for our dog to be shaved. We would never say for our Pom to be shaved as we understand the potential detrimental effect of shaving a Pomeranians coat. We only ever trim! I highly recommend avoiding this grooming business at all costs! I have attached a photo of what our Pom looks like following the cut and also a photo of what she looked like prior to using this groomer. For anyone reading this, you be the judge on whether you think we'd ask for her to look like that on the left when she has such a beautiful coat on the right?"
