"I would never come back again I came with my family to enjoy a breakfast The girl behind the cashier was so rude to the customers I’ve ordered food and i was walking back to my table I thought that it’s okay to pay it later when we finish eating, She shouted at me saying PAY NOW i was a bit shocked tbh and i payed it She was lucky that i got my family with me and there was already couple people in the Resturant I don’t recommend it at all"
"Tables had crumbles all over them (at least 50%) and had to remind worker to clean them before we sat with the kids. Staff don't wear hair nets and does not wear gloves when working. Cutlery had dry dough clumps and the cups we had tea from had dried out dough bits. Gozleme quality wasn't that good. Nothing traditional left in this place and is run by incompetent staff at service, communication and attention to detail."
"The place advertises food they don’t offer anymore!! Went there to order a specific thing that was on their menu and get told we don’t offer it anymore. The place looks empty wirh barley any drinks even, wanted to order tea the lady said we don’t offer it at this time. Gozleme that I ordered was also undercooked. Very unprofessional staff working with their hair out while making the food."
"Don’t eat here. There’s a reason you’ll never see anyone in the shop, and I had to learn the hard way. I attended the front counter and notice from where I was two female workers at the back of the shop chatting. The place was so dead I wasn't even sure if it was open. So I ask the ladies if they are, and they responded “yes”. Despite acknowledging me, they decide to chat for another two minutes amongst themselves. Eventually one of the females got up and approached to serve me. It was clear by her expression that she had no interest in doing her job. I actually seemed to be an inconvenience to her conversation. I order a bbq chicken gozleme with a drink. Not sure how, but it turned out to be $20. At that point I wasn’t fussy and just wanted lunch. After that, the female puts together a gozleme and places it on the grill. She went back to the other lady and continued their conversation. After about 20 minutes of waiting, and her returning intermittently to flip the gozleme, it was finally ready. I took my food and made the poor mistake to check its quality once back in the car, where I discovered the chicken was all pink and sloppy. Waste of money and attention as these people clearly don’t care. Looking at previous reviews, it seems like my experience is pretty consistent among others. Poor customer service, poor food. An embarrassment to the Turkish cuisine."
"Spinach and Cheese Gozleme was advertised on the board for $9. When I went to pay, the lady said $12 and pointed at the small notice on the counter announcing a price increase. I thought a 33% hike was a bit much but I already ordered so couldn't be bothered to cancel. I ordered the Spinach and Cheese with chilly flakes and guess what??? Yup, no chilly flakes. The gozleme I had was a little under cooked. The pastry tasted a little more doughy than usual. Would I come back? Definitely not. Best gozleme with the best customer service would be located at Birkenhead point food court. Will be avoiding "The Gozleme Co" from now on."
