"Food was delicious and well presented. Great customer service and very fresh sushi. Appreciated the eco friendly packaging. Adding a sit-down area would greatly improve the experience but the free miso soup deal was an added bonus. I would 100% go back."
"Prob 3.5 out of 5 stars because most of the time I get super fresh sushi which you can tell it’s been made in the morning and it’s fantastic, however there’s been a couple of times they’ve put the old sushi out from the day before. I’m sure it’s fine to eat but it’s not nice at all and it’s certainly not nice paying $4.50 per sushi roll (70c more expensive than other shopping centre locations). If they’re going to use old sushi then match other sushi hub restaurants at $3.80 or less a piece."
"Sushi is great, however the woman with the bob haircut was quite rude. I ordered 2 sushi rolls and 2 nigiri, it didnt fit into the small box and I asked her if she could arrange it so it would close as I have to walk a way. She then just squashed the lid down on top of the nigiri. Seemed to enjoy spitefully squashing the food, dead straight face. Just watched in shock at the effort made and the now freshly squashed scallop patties inside the box. Said it was nasty that she done that. No sign of emotion or explanation. Honestly wouldn't have taken much to move a roll out of the box into a bag. There were no other waiting customers. She then smirked, "thanked me" then walked to the end. I've asways seen the rolls put into bags and the nigiri into boxes so theyre 'not' squashed. I regret not asking for a refund or asking for a new serving that wasn't squashed. I've eaten here before and had no problem with the other staff."
"By far one of the worst sushi I had in Australia. I ordered a Salmon and Tuna nigiri platter. The nigiri was so cold, the rice was hard and really hard to chew, and the portion of rice in each nigiri was just too much. I forced myself to eat 3 nigiri and just throw the rest in the trash. For the quality of sushi you guys are serving, calling your business “Sushi Hub” is quite pretentious. I would rename it “Sushi Amateur”, at least until your sushi chef learn the sushi culture and how to actually make a sushi the right way. Cause right now your restaurant is an insult to the Japanese cuisine."
"I didn't expect sushi hub open a branch here, with the same good taste, also the fresh ingredients, and a newly renovated store. I hope there will be more new products!"
