"AmazIng service. We were treated like VIPs from the beginning. Special care & wonderful service for those in wheelchair. Unlike their neighbour, MVV Motel & Comfy Kew do provide disability access. Owner (?) was waiting outside in the cold for us, was so overwhelmed by the warm welcome we received despite checking in later than anticipated. I was SO regretful for keeping such a pleasant, lovely person waiting. Family deluxe is amazingly affordable for a prestigious room. It is so well equipped for disability access, so grateful for great service & comfort for my family member who uses a wheelchair. Thank you MVV Motel & Comfy Kew for making us feel so welcomed and for ensuring our comfort, and for being so well-equipped with disability access. Room looked a lot more inviting than the photos. "Location is super convenient to the tram and all the Kew High Street shops! The Room is amazing! Tidy, clean, has windows, air-conditioner, TV, bathroom and kitchen! Staff are super friendly and helpful (Especially Ivan at reception! He is fantastic and has helped me so much even on his off-days, he deserves a raise) Would highly recommend this place, I even extended my stay another week it is so good, and the price is great also."

"I don’t think some of the reviews here are real. This place does not match its description and I think the photos were taken when the dirty place was first built. We had to pay a $100 deposit for the electronic entry card which wasn’t mentioned at booking. The room was dirty. The amount of filth next to the fridge was disgusting. The fan above the cooktop was covered in grease and dripping below. The smell of bleach when we got there had us opening the windows and leaving the room as we would have been overwhelmed had we stayed. There are steep stairs to get to rooms with no lift, none of which was mentioned at booking. We paid $250 a night, which I admit is not the most expensive motel but the price was doubled due to it being a busy weekend. Even at $119 a night you would be paying too much. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t. EDIT: the response from the owner to my review is total rubbish, we left the room cleaner than we found it. As for ruining the bedding that is absolutely ridiculous, mind you they are only fit for the op shop at best."

"This place is great the staff are friendly thr room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone will definitely be coming back here again Very clean soaps and shampoo and conditioner was left out . The pillows were very comfortable"

"Be aware that the rooms cheap and inaccessible, the staff are rude, but liveable for the cost. Liked · For the value of money, it is acceptable. The room is small but not bad for the price. Could come and go as we pleased as long as we had our fob key. The location is good with quick access to tram and shops. The parking is also secure and was available for our stay. Disliked · The workers were rude and dismissive. When we arrived they asked to charge a $100 refundable emergency deposit but we were not made aware of this requirement before arriving. When I told them I did not have money available for this they asked for a credit card. When I explained that I did not have a credit card the worker shamed me for not having one, and I quote "This is ridiculous everyone has a credit card, you have to have something". This discussion went on for 10 minutes in a loop until I was in tears and had to have a family member send me the money for the deposit. The manager refused to come out to see me in this time. It is completely inaccessible. Though they have a wheelchair lift into the main entrance, there is no elevator and they would not allow us to change to a ground floor room without a large fee. The shower in our room flooded as soon as it was turned on as there was no water-blocking strip between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so we had to block water with towels every time we showered. And finally, we found cockroaches throughout our luggage when we returned home, which we are sure were picked up in the room, as our suitcases were closed through the entirety of the trip home."
