"Quality fish and chips: you know the kind that, in a small country town, you’d find at the miscellaneous local takeaway shop? No fuss, not super fancy; but always golden, crispy, delicious, and reasonably priced? That’s the vibe here. They even do hot dogs in batter, which I hadn’t had FOR YEARS, until I found this place! Ordered flake and chips yesterday, and once again wasn’t disappointed. The chips were perfectly cooked, the flake was crispy, and our $40 order fed three adults. Seriously, if you’re on the fence, give this place a go!!"

"Went for Sunday lunch and ordered a family pack. They don’t take card, only cash. So I went and got cash out, came back and they hadn’t started cooking the food, so I had to pay then sit and wait. The chips were ok. Potato cake was thin but ok. “Calamari” rings were some processed mushy stuff, not actually calamari rings. Fish was flake which is fine, but the fillet was so thin and the batter so thick that it wasn’t enjoyable. Good volume of food for the money, but not quality enough for me to go back."

"This was damn good. $10.80 for their single pack is a steal. The fish was cooked deliciously and didn’t taste like the oil was dirty. Great amount of chicken salt too. The staff were very friendly and subbed out a potato cake for a dim sim! Will definitely be back. Old school no frills fish and chip shop."
