"Pros: The service at the reception was friendly and courteous. They were able to allow me to check in a few hours earlier which was a big plus. The beds were comfy, aside from a strange stain on one of the sheets. Views were spectacular and you are able to take full advantage of the sea breeze. Price was very cost-effective when compared to other options. The trams are in close proximity and give you easy access to the whole CBD. There are plenty of shopping plus food options within a few minutes. Master bedroom has ensuite and, impressively, a walk-in wardrobe. Cons: Generally aged rooms with obvious patches from previous repairs. Strange stain on one of the bed sheets. We stayed for 5 nights and asked them for some extra shampoo as we had run out (there were 6 people staying), which actually required a but of negotiation. Would have appreciated if they were a little more receptive to this request due to our stay duration. Showers do not have a light source so it feels strangely dark when using it. Overall was very happy with this property and would highly recommend this location if you have no specific need to be right in the heart of the CBD, especially as one tram ride brings you pretty much to the centre in 10 minutes."
