"Attended around 9 am with my parents, who are in their 80’s, for for their weekly shop. Not one single assisted check out… not one! One staff member assisting on the quick checkout and one on the larger self checkouts. Counted 9 people over the age of 70 all struggling with the self checkouts including one person who put their two items back and left without shopping. It’s sad that the people who make these decisions do not cater for seniors and deny them independence… evidently poor market research has been done in this case as apparently there would be someone on the checkout after 10… but the average age of customers at 9am was pretty close to 80! Not good enough!"
