"Arrived at athlone train Station on tuesday the 18th of October. Had a problem with the parking at the train station and the inspector that was on that day was so friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. He was so good helping us with the printing of the tickets. He diffently made my day knowing that there is still good people willing to look out for people. 10 out of 10 for him. Thank you..."

"Train station with small coffee shop inside. Parking is limted so if you are not on one of the first departures in the morning the car park will most likely be full. Other parking available within a 5 minute walk. Staff very friendly and helpful."
