"Phoned Westdoc Monday 26thTuesday27th several times got no reply ,it's a service in name only."
"Absolute waste of time , lady over phone who took notes had more knowledge then a doctor who rang. In minutes time he changed mind from child is perfectly fine to bring him to emergency aboslutely interupting and not even letting me finish to explain what is reason for the call. I litterally newer been so confused over a call from doctor ! This is the worst service available. Why do we pay tax in here to receive service like this ? Never mind kept calling me by name Rachel again and again ! Not even sure now if he called the right person , cant believe how bad it is."
"Rang Westdoc yesterday evening who refused to see me because it didn't "seem too severe". Ended up hospitalised overnight which could have been prevented had I been seen on time. Not good enough."
"Awful awful awful experience. I rang West doc on the 08/09/20 to report my child had difficulty breathing and that he has a history of going into respirtory distress. I was told a doctor from Roscommon will be in touch, im still waiting 2 + hours later. I drove to Roscommon to discover the place was closed and nobody was answering my calls. My poor child is so distressed and it could easily of been resolved if he was seen. Terrible service."
"The worst out of hours service ever.the standard of health care in Co Roscommon is a joke even when we had to go to glenamaddy it was as bad.. all they care about is getting there €60 and you can forget about it if you have a medical card..every time.i have brought my kids to west doc I have to bring them to there own GP a few days later in a worse state then they were in.."
