About the Business
Welcome to Sligo Yacht Club, situated in the scenic Rosses Upper area of Sligo, Ireland. Our club is one of the premier sailing and social clubs in the northwest of Ireland, and has been serving sailors and boaters in the area since its founding in 1821.
Sligo Yacht Club provides a wide range of activities for sailing enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Our marina and boat park offer ample space and facilities for all types of vessels, from dinghies to cruisers. Our sailing school provides excellent opportunities for newcomers to the sport to improve their skills, with experienced instructors and a range of courses available throughout the year.
In addition to sailing, we also offer other watersports such as kayaking, windsurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Our club house is a great place to relax and socialize with other members, with a restaurant, bar, and lounge areas offering stunning views of the Rosses Upper estuary.
At Sligo Yacht Club, we are proud to be an integral part of the local community, hosting a range of events throughout the year, including regattas, charity days, and cultural events.
