"Hi there I was in your store today and bought the shoes that were ordered for me, from another store. I can only say how delighted i am with the customer service. Especially from the wonderful Miriam who went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with my shoes."
"My friend and I visited Paul Bryon Mullingar recently on a shopping day.. We bought 3 pair of shoes there at really good prices. RACHEL was so helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much hassle for her.. She had a lovely sense of humour and I would highly recommend her for a customer services award and/or payrise.. Thanks Rachel.. Well done Martina and Aggie"

"AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! I purchased 2 pairs of kids Echo shoes from the Mullingar branch, total cost β¬120.00. On the day I purchased the shoes there were several signs across the shop stating 20% off all Echo shoes. When I went to pay I was told that kids shoes were not included, the advertising in that cause was false and misleading but I needed the shoes so I decided not to argue the point. After the first wear the shoes started to disintegrate, the plastic coating on the shoes began to peel off and the exposed part of white sole could not be cleaned. After four wears, all indoors the shoes looked like they were 6 months old. I was in the centre so I decided to speak to the manager in the store about the issue. I met the male manager, aged in his 20's and he was very efficient told me to bring the shoes back with proof of purchase and he would give me credit, I thought that was acceptable. I returned home and returned to the store with the shoes, before I even took the shoes from the bag to show the manager, his tone had changed. I suspect it was due to the fact that it was 5:20pm and the store was closing at 5:30pm. He now renaged on his earlier promise of credit and said he would need to talk to Paul, I assume this Paul is Paul Byron. Paul Byron obviously micro manages all refunds in his business and does not trust in the ability of his managers, judging by the calibre of the manager I dealt with i can probably understand why. The manager took my number and promised a call back, this call came on Thursday afternoon from the same manager, he said "I spoke with Paul and he has decided not to give credit as the shoes are damaged because of the way they were worn" my response was"on their feet indoors on four occasions" he responded "yes I am sorry". This is an extremely disappointing experience and I guarantee to never shop their again. Today I went to Swarbriggs shoes on the main street and purchased two replacement pairs of shoes. They are far more professional operation and my advice is do not buy from Paul Byron instead use Swarbriggs."
