Welcome to the AIT Library, located at the Athlone Institute of Technology in Ireland. Our library occupies a modern, state-of-the-art facility on the Main Campus of Athlone Institute of Technology in Kilmacuagh (Cooke), Athlone. The library is open seven days a week and has extended hours during the academic year. We are dedicated to providing our users with an environment that is conducive to learning and research, with plenty of comfortable seating, natural light, and state-of-the-art technology.

Our collection of print materials includes books, academic journals, magazines, and newspapers that span all academic disciplines, as well as extensive collections of multimedia resources like DVDs, CDs and e-books. With access to over 60,000 electronic journals, 23,000 e-books, and numerous academic databases, we provide our users with a wealth of digital information resources.

Our facilities include quiet study areas, group study rooms, and computer labs equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The library also provides a wide range of services, including academic writing support, citation management resources, and research consultation services with librarians.
