Bilberries Playgroup is a trusted early education center located in Cloggernagh W in the heart of Islandeady, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Since our inception, we have been providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged between two and five years old to learn and grow.

We believe that children have unique learning capabilities, and we aim to foster their creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Our qualified teachers are dedicated and passionate about delivering exceptional teaching and care to children enrolled at our Playgroup. They work tirelessly to ensure that all children feel valued, appreciated and loved.

We understand that parents and guardians are concerned about the well-being of their children when they are away. We assure you that with us, your child will receive the best care possible. Rigorous hygiene standards, ample outdoor play, and interactive educational activities are just some of the ways we make sure your child stays healthy and happy.

Our modern facilities are equipped with age-appropriate toys, books, and games. Our classrooms are spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed to enhance learning. We encourage children to be independent and confident by providing opportunities for them to make decisions, try new things, and work collaboratively with others.

At Bilberries Playgroup, we operate during term time only, from September until June. Parents may choose between morning or afternoon sessions, each lasting three hours. We also have a drop-in service, where children can be left on an hourly basis.

We are proud of our record of preparing children for primary school. The solid foundation of early learning that we provide means that children are well adjusted, confident, and excited to continue learning when it is time to move on to primary school.
