"Absolutely the best restaurant I've ever been to! Everything about Eithna's is exceptional...the quality of food, the very reasonable prices, the comfortable atmosphere, and the brilliant staff! We were able to book a table for Saturday evening, and felt very comfortable there even though we were in casual clothes from a day of travel. Maeve is the best server I've ever seen....very patient and helpful about menu and food allergy enquiries, and truly the most attentive server. We loved all the seafood (especially the lobster), and the lemon raspberry sponge dessert was particularly amazing. We loved the food so much that we decided to return for lunch on Sunday. It was equally delicious (especially the scampi!) and incredible value for the very reasonable prices. After both meals we were sad to leave, and it was tempting to linger in the cosy upstairs room admiring the beautiful view. It even inspired us to discuss how feasible our commutes to work might still be if we moved a bit closer to Mullaghmore. :) It was very apparent that Eithna's staff is well-trained, well-managed, and exceptional at their jobs. Everyone we met was very kind, friendly, efficient, and helpful. We're already looking forward to a day trip back in a few weeks! Many thanks to everyone at Eithna's."
"The BEST FOOD I ever had !!! Loved the atmosphere, loved the staff and everything about the restaurant. Felt like you were in a friends home ,so welcoming and warm cannot wait to go back !!!!!"
"Fantastic spot food was great as wear the staff. Outside tables are a little on the small side but we will definitely be back soon."
"This place is an absolute gem. We got take out coffee and a brownie. The coffee is the best ever! The brownie was like velvet, warmed, drizzled with chocolate and a side of cream, all presented in a lovely take-out box. Same again, best ever. While I was there a coach party was being served. The food looked fab. Went back for a couple more brownies to take home! Really pleasant staff and very tasteful decor all adds up to make this a wonderful restaurant. A must visit!"
"Totally underwhelming food and atmosphere. Small half lobster was half cold and served on a plastic takeaway plate. Rushing to eat it before it was completely cold felt like a sorry way to eat a €35 dish. It wasn’t the treat I’d hoped for. All food and hot drinks were served on disposable containers even though we were eating in, sitting at a table. No idea why they didn’t serve on real crockery. It might have helped keep the food warm? Dessert meringue was dry, nothing special. Such a disappointment."
