Beginning in the planing process the company provided excellent recommendations and made reservations for hotels, dinning options, and once in a lifetime experiences to create a personalized itinerary. It was effortless to land at Shannon Airport and immediately be greeted by our driver, Eóin Duffy. It was wonderful to not have to worry about driving or navigating and I was truly able to appreciate the beauty of Mayo, Galway, and Limerick. Eóin's knowledge of Ireland was impressive and his passion and thoughtfulness enhanced the overall experience. In addition to seeing Downpatrick Head and driving along the Sky Road, and the Wild Atlantic Way, Eóin took us to hidden gems. Being able to be spontaneous and make stops during the tour to take photos or to have a pint at a local pub would not have been possible in a larger tour group. "Touring Ireland with the Duffy Group Review of Duffy Tours Reviewed 4 days ago We had the pleasure of touring the west coast of the Republic of Ireland and parts of Northern Ireland with Thomas Duffy who runs the tour company with his brother and sister. We spent five days on the road with Tommy and had an amazing time. Starting in Kerry, where he was flexible enough to change the pick-up location at the last minute, we traveled through parts of the Ring of Kerry, Galway, Doolin, Sligo, Derry and Belfast. We got to see the Cliffs, the Rock of Cashel, Yeats' burial site, Ashford Castle, Markree Castle (a must), Giant's Causeway and so many other wonderful places. Tommy could not have been more accommodating to our needs and our self-planned itinerary. He steered us away from places that would have been merely "tourist traps" and recommended places that were truly worth seeing. We learned so much about Irish history and geography from Tommy who personalized everything for us. And he always had great suggestions for lunch and dinner. We even got treated to coffee at his family's drive through coffee shop! The Mercedes van we traveled in was very luxurious and comfortable. Trying to drive in this part of the country would have been a mess for us.
