"Was booked in to the Longford arms hotel, they own the Escobar (Annaly) that is were I was put. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Room is small but kept very clean by housekeeping. Food is great (good chef). For me it is what it is a place to clean up after work sleep and eat."
"Wonderful spot! Fantastic staff, spacious single rooms and a delicious breakfast the next day."
"Beautiful hotel in Longford town. On arrival I was greeted warmly which put me at ease. I was informed the bar was still open if I would like a nightcap,I was directed to my room which was easy to find. My room was immaculate, beautiful white bedding and 2 pillows. Bedside lamps with pull cords made it easy to switch on and off. Bathroom with a shower over the bath, complimentary toiletries provided a little luxury. TV in bedroom with multi choice channels. And tea and coffee making facilities too. I had a nightcap in the bar which was quiet but still felt comfortable. When I returned to my room I watched the tv for a short while before settling to sleep. Bed was so comfortable and cosy I slept the night through.( a rarety for me) I awoke refreshed, I enjoyed a morning cup of tea, The shower was powerful and the water was hot. I ventured to the dining room where I was greeted by a lovely warm mannered hostess, I enjoyed a warm croissant before a beautifully cooked irish breakfast. My teapot was topped up with more hot water. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. My hostess informed me of the live music being played tonight and invited me to pop in with my friends to enjoy this if we were wanting to. I highly reccomend this hotel for any one looking for somewhere to stay while in the lovely town of Longford. I will definitely stay again."
"I was so surprised today to arrive here to this lovely hotel in Longford. Stayed last night in a 5* hotel in #dublin and was horrified at the lack of hospitality. Dinner and breakfast arrived in room cold. Hot whisky was brought to the room with ice and coke!! Dessert was advertised as warm and was brought to my room ice cold!! ASked for heater to get fixed and was told the engineers don't work at the weekend .....It need a bulb! Asked for coffee brought to cigarette area and waited 30 mins for same. Staff lovely and deserved the tip. Service here at the Annaly were so helpful right from check in to check out. Knowing my brain damage they made allowances for me as soon as I entered hotel. Food brought to the room was hot and tasty. Clean rooms. Help with internet connection (brain damage). Deserve 5 stars and if there was more stars I could give them i truly would."
