"Great food and super atmosphere. We were lucky to have live music and a good crowd adding to the general feeling of goodness. Very tasty food. Spicy mussels, crisp tasty simple pizza margarita, creamy clam chowder and gorgeous Guiness. Tasty food reasonable prices pleasant service. Incredible views of lovely balcony. Well worth a try."

"Nice family food that was a nice change to the rest of the food we've eaten in Clifden. The starters (panko prawns and calamari) were phenomenonal as well as the homemade apple pie. The pizza was about as good as you'd expect from Connemara but they have nice pizza choice. We also enjoyed the cider selection, especially the Galway craft cider. The staff, while lovely, weren't the most attentive (forgot to bring us something we ordered but still charged us for it) and most of them weren't wearing their masks properly (or at all). All in all, I would definitely recommend it for a relaxed evening or a family night!"

"Atmosphere: really nice interior design, good background music, very nice atmosphere in general Service: unfortunately we had to wait for ages for our food. I was not hungry anymore when it finally arrived, people around us even left. In general the staff was mostly very friendly, one lady apologized that the food took that long and brought as more bread, but another waitress just told us „that everybody is waiting very long“ - that was not helping. Food: the pizza was okay, but unfortunately it did not ‚exceed my expectations‘ as someone noted in a previous comment. I thought it was rather a bit dry and did not excite me. The bread and the mussels were very nice. Overall: Maybe my expectations were just too high after reading the reviews here and seeing the pictures, but i couldn‘t help leaving the restaurant disappointed, on the one hand due to the really long waiting time, on the other hand because the food just did not excite me as I expected it."

"Good quality, tasty food (we had the stroganoff and fish curry) using a variety of local ingredients. Friendly service at a good level and a unique raised view of the Clifden harbour from the tables on the rear terrace."
