"It's a restaurant I found by chance while on a Road trip from Dublin. We ate Fish and chips and mussels for lunch. Didn't need a reservation. Restaurant was clean. Service was very fast. Meals were amazing. We paid 85 euros for 1 soup, 2 main courses and 4 beers. There was the opportunity to taste local beer. toilets were clean."

"One of the only open restaurants in the area. We had the Seafood Chowder which was mainly smoked fish but for the priced one can't complain. Very filling. Fresh oysters are available. We were happy with the dessert, too. And especially the staff."

"We arrived about 10 minutes before close. Felt bad but the greeting was still done with a smile. Had mussels, the seafood chowder and the Lamb stew. And of course a few pints. The mussels were in a rich cream and butter sauce. It was delectable and they were fresh and had a great texture. The chowder was....hot!!! Had to let it cool a bit but had huge chunks of seafood and tasted amazing. Same with the lamb stew. Sat by the real fire as we were transported into food happiness. Highly recommended"

"Ate here recently on our family trip to Clifden - the food was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Calamari starter was ok - portion was a bit smaller than we expected. The fish and chips were really good. Fish was obviously very fresh and we all enjoyed it. Also, the Guinness was absolutely top-notch!! Tried another beer from a local brewery which was also really good (Bridewell Blond from the Bridewell Brewery, which is just down the road from Mannions) - always good to see local beers on taps in bars."
