"This is a fabulous place. The scenery is fabulous of Croke Patrick. The owner of the house is so lovely. We went there later anough in the evening. Fire was a set up and the heating was on lovely, lovely family and also had breakfast in fridge for the morning top class 100% Recommended it."

"Stayed last night with the family and would highly recommend.. Majella and her husband were lovely hosts and extremely hospitable. Very comfortable accommodation and loved the extra touch of a stove with firewood and some eggs & sausages in the fridge!! Nice location with a lovely view of Croagh Patrick.. Will definitely be returning at some stage next summer. Great experience had.."

"Excellent host impeccably clean great supply of fire wood at no extra cost not like other places I've stayed. Very covid secure. Nice quiet area not a problem if you have a car as easy driving distance to Castlebar, Westport and Ballinrobe and not forgetting the beautiful Ashford castle in Cong. Fully recommended and will definitely be booking again"

"Helens Self Catering. Castlebar. Ireland. 11 April - 16 April, 2019. 5 nights. What gorgeous and spacious accommodation this is, set in a beautiful and quiet location in Ireland, with rolling green hills and the sound of cattle nearby. The home has everything you require, with a cosy wood fire, a gas log heater in the lounge and every other room also heated. The kitchen has all the appliances one requires. The little things like extra USB ports came in so handy. The stunning breakfast treats that were left kept us going for days. Majella and John where the perfect hosts, they were so welcoming and helpful. They even went beyond their duties by offering to put on our heaters for our warm and cosy arrival after us being out all day in the cold. This was so considerate and thoughtful. Their hospitality is unsurpassed. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful Ireland. Scott & Barb Boonah. Queensland. Australia."

"It was such a perfect,comfortable stay at the Christmas Day 2018. The house is super comfy with everything you need. We stayed as 2 small families- 4 ppl. It has kitchen,two bedrooms,everything so good,clean and everything so well looked after. Majella us a super host with 5 star raiting.As a bonus we got a Christmas dinner from Majella. Things for breakfast was also that ready for us to use! Fireplace is in place. Everything is there for you.Majella it was truly magical stay,thank you so much! If I could i put 10 stars for you! Thank you so much!"
