"Beautiful cottages with nice views of the Atlantic Ocean"
"We absolutely loved our holiday in the Old Deanery Cottages. Liz is a fantastic host, and so welcoming. The cottages themselves are perfectly equipped for a holiday with family or friends - spacious, great kitchen and eating areas, and best of all, all have beautiful views of Killala harbour. There is so much to do in the area, with beautiful forest walks, unspoilt beaches and the greenway for walking/cycling very close by. The small town of Killala is just behind the cottages, and has a few pubs, a cafe, hairdresser and a couple of shops including a well stocked Centra. We'll definitely be back!"
"I can’t thank liz enough for her complete kindness and for giving us such a wonderful welcome from the minute we arrived she was just so accommodating and Informative. I honestly have never given a review before in my life, but the time we had in the old deanery holiday cottage was just so wonderful I had to share, we had the local pub best fish n chips I have ever had and a boat trip which liz sorted with willie and he was a breath of fresh air, then the local beach, but let me tell you one thing you will never regret a trip here it’s heaven on earth the open fire at the end of the day the breathtaking views but most of all the wonderful people you meet, especially liz she Just so kind and the most genuine caring child friendly Person you will ever meet, I will 100% be back and I just cannot wait to see her again"
"We 3 adults and our dogs went to the Old Deanery earlier this week for three nights and had a whale of a time. We arrived to an already burning turf fire. The place was extremely warm and cozy. Great views out the windows. Liz the owner was very attentive and helped us with all our queries about the area. We walked the dogs on big wide empty beaches and beautiful cliff walks. The cottages are very close to pubs for drinks and eating. A great chill out location. Loved it! we will be back Thanks, Liz Stephen and Denise"
"Lovely cottages. Basic but fully equipped and very cosy and comfy. Excellent view across the bay right outside the window. Parking on site and very close to shops in village. A few good places to eat in village although unfortunately with restricted opening hours (we were out of season so probably better later in the year.) Supermarket in town so easy to self cater too. Lovely sandy beaches close by and various amenities (riding, diving, yoga, historic sites). Thoroughly recommended."
